                            New to starting seedlings

The Home Garden Seed Association has a nice resource on easy to start plants from seeds.

Peppers, eggplants and tomatoes need to be started indoors in February-March in the San Francisco Bay Area. If you are checking out these seeds, you will need a garden heating mat, lights and an adjustable rack. Attend one of our free classes on Indoor Seed Starting (see home page for classes) or check out the complete class handout under our Courses page.
